Instant Dhokla Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp eno powder
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 green chilles split (hari
mirch)
8-10 curry leaves
(kadi patta)
1 tsp mustard seeds
(raai)
1/4 tsp salt (namak)
1 cup water
2-3 tbsp oil
Dhokla preparation :
- First mix gram flour, ginger paste,green chilli paste,yogurt,salt,sugar,turmeric powder,1sp oil and mix it well.Now add 1 cup water and mix well.
- Now take a container and grease it with oil.
- Boil water in a pressure cooker and place sieve (jaali) on it.
- Add eno powder to prepared mixture.
- Immediately pour this mixture in the greased container.
- Place it on jaali and cover the cooker.
- Remove the whistle of the cooker.
- Cook at high flame for 15-20 minutes.
- Now reverse the dhokla cake out of the container and cut into pieces once it is cooled.
- Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seeds and once they splutter then add curry leaves.
- Finely chop green chilies.
- Pour this on dhoklas.
- Garnish with finely chopped dhania patti.
- Serve with some chutney.
